Selma Apartment –
The villa is situated in an ideal location. Short stroll to beautiful beach with crystal clear water. We enjoyed swimming early morning before breakfast (lovely croissants bought locally) days on the beach and evening swims. The villa is very well equipped for a self catering holiday. The outdoor shower was great to use after visits to the beach or for an instant cool down! The local shops are within walking distance and supplied everything we needed. Lovely man selling fruit from his truck, the most beautiful figs we have ever tasted!
The owner was full of suggestions about places to visit. We visited Lecce, a beautiful historic city, Santa Maria di Leuca (right at the southern tip where the adriatic and ionian seas meet), Torre San Giovanni (more swimming), Punta della Suina (lovely snorkelling and swimming).
Grazie mille for the local cakes and beautiful tomatoes, grapes and melon and the opportunity to explore the beautiful Salento area.
