Last weekend at the Abbazia di Santa Maria di Cerrate for the (FAI) Spring days. There, young expert Ciceroni of a local lower seconday school welcomed interested visitors from the nearby and from other distant Countries of the world to tell about centuries of history of this precious architectural jewel of great artistic and cultural value in the Apulia territory.
The Abbey, as a monument that represents the meeting point and succession of different civilizations and cultures, undergoes restoration work over time and an entire community spontaneously contributes to its progress by taking care of it.
